Progress Report: Day One

I fell asleep last night reading "The Idiot's Guide to Grammar and Style". I love the "Idiot's Guide" series more than the "Dummies". Probably because I feel a little less insulted by being called an idiot. Or maybe it's the weird "Dummy" character with the weird hair-cut and the bulging eyes. That guy is a bit of a turn off.

So by now you're probably rolling your eyes and thinking, "BFD. She read a book. Whatchu want a cookie?" This was a big step for me, though. I've been a grammarphobe for a little while now. Strange thing for a wanna-be writer to admit, I know. Still, I've done my best with the general knowledge I gained from elementary English class. For me to acknowledge that it's not enough and that I need more, is a huge step. I feel good about where this is going.
